Sports Tour – From Boxing to Baseball! Join us for a fascinating tour of the final resting place of notable individuals from the World of Bay Area Sports.
Did you know that San Francisco’s Olympic Sporting Club started in the backyard of two Gold Rush artists who were also aspiring gymnasts?
Or that some of the biggest boxing matches of the 20th Century took place just past the city limits in the town of Colma?
Or that the San Francisco Seals owner once banned peanuts at their baseball games, only to cave 24 hours later when the fans revolted?
Hop aboard our classic trolley and cruise through the historic grounds of Cypress Lawn Memorial Park with us as we tell you all about these colorful characters and many more, and their role in shaping the World of Bay Area sports!
